ALQIMI is currently seeking a CBRN IEW Operational Support Specialist (OSS) to join its team of engineers, developers, analysts, designers and data scientists.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

As a CBRN IEW Operational Support Specialist (OSS) on our team, you’ll enhance client knowledge and decision making by providing key indications and early warning (IEW) for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) and Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) and related threats using Publicly Available Information (PAI), OSINT data, tools, and tradecraft running on ALQIMI’s RAAVN™ IEW application platform.

Using your comprehensive understanding of various collection platforms, you’ll explore new data sources, craft effective queries, draft machine learning model lexicons, combine information from disparate sources and provide context and threat assessments as part of IEW products performed ad hoc and on a regular basis. Day to day activities will include using your expertise to review data collections and machine generated anomalies, nominate Alert topics, and research, write, and review Alerts for publication within the RAAVN™ IEW Application.

As the subject matter expert (SME) on your CBRN/WMD threat target set, our clients will look to you for time critical IEW Alerts, value-added context and threat assessment, often in a time constrained environment. This is a chance to grow your expertise and broaden your skillset.

You’ll share your expertise with other CBRN IEW OSS team members through teamwork and collaboration. We focus on growing as a team to deliver the best support to our customers, so you’ll have the resources to learn new skills and tools.

The position is hybrid WFH/WFO-model, predominantly working remotely with regular scheduled in-office attendance in Arlington, VA. This is subject to change based on mission and team requirements.

  • Experience in the CBRN and WMD domains. Country specific subject matter expertise and language skills will be favorably considered.

  • Minimum clearance level of Secret. TS with SCI eligibility preferred.
  • Travel may be required. The CBRN IEW OSS must hold a valid US passport.
