ALQIMI is seeking a Strategic Analyst in support of the Marine Warfighter in overseas locations.

Position: MLG Strategic Analyst

JOB DUTIES:

Provide detailed analysis and planning support for long lead projects

Analyze, assess and recommend implementable updates/changes to the Defense Policy Review Initiative (DPRI) Distributed Laydown (DL) for logistics units.

Conduct strategic analysis and long-range planning to identify and recommend updates or new operating concepts for 3rd MLG

Analyze and provide planning expertise in the development and update of all assigned operations plans.

Provide detailed analysis and planning support for long lead projects (MC2025 / ADL, Dev planning tools and support products)

Analyze the Defense Policy Review Initiative (DPRI) Distributed Laydown (DL): Analyze and recommend implementable updates/changes to the Defensed Policy Review Initiative (DPRI) Distributed Laydown (DL) for logistics units. Prepare briefings, staff coordination, and decision documentation relating to DPRI DL for aviation units.

Clearance:

Active Secret Clearance required

Required Certification and Qualification:

• Intermediate to Advanced Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Intermediate Level USMC formal schooling related to MAGTF Operations (CSC, etc).

 

Preferred Certification and Qualification:

• Top Level formal schooling related to MAGTF Operations (Service War College, etc).

For about 450 years, from the 15th to the 19th century, Okinawa prospered as the Kingdom of Ryukyu, a state independent of Japan's central government. Cultural characteristics and conventions born through the relations with foreign countries in those days still survive in such interesting forms as artifacts and festivals, giving additional charm to Okinawa. Especially Shuri Castle (the castle of the King of Ryukyu) in Naha City, which reopened in 1992 after being reconstructed. It was inscribed as a World Heritage Site, and attracts many visitors.

Various festivals and events are held in Okinawa throughout the year. You can enjoy flowers and whale watching in winter and spring, marine sports and traditional performing arts in summer, and cultural events and field sports in fall. Some traditional festivals and events include the Hari Dragon Boat Race in May, an Eisa dance competition during the summer Bon Festival period, as well as tug-of-war competitions held each summer and fall.
