What you will be doing!
Your primary focus will be deliver technical and operational support to key applications in a enterprise environment. Specifically, the System Administrator supports the operation and migration of existing business systems/services while continuously evaluating new technologies. Increase efficiency delivering customer-value. Ideally, we are looking for someone that can support multiple projects. In addition, identifying and clearly articulating the requirements is key.
What you will need:
- Minimum 10 years demonstrated experience administrating web applications
- Demonstrated experience with full life-cycle software development including analyzing, designing, building, testing, implementing, and supporting in an Agile Methodology environment
- Demonstrated experience with installing, configuring and troubleshooting web and application servers
- Demonstrated experience working with other technical experts, customers, and providing explanations of complex technical procedures and process clearly and accurately to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated experience learning new commercial off the shelf (COTS) and customer developed software applications
- Experience performing installations, upgrades, and maintains operating systems and application software on Linux or Windows platforms
- Experience supporting multiple environments to include dev, test, training, and production environments
- Experience with Windows Server 2008/2012 R2 is a plus, but not mandatory
- Familiarity with encryption technology (PKI authentication)
- Experience supporting enterprise wide software
- Experience working in a Big Data Environment
- Experience with AWS is a plus
