Information Systems Support Specialist
Location: Washington, DC
The job Location is downtown Washington, DC - just a few blocks- walking distance from the Verizon Center, where major concerts and sporting events are hosted and only a few blocks from public transportation, which is Gallery Place Metro station.
In addition, the work location is walking distance to numerous awesome restaurants and retailers. Also, very close to the major tourist attractions, such as museums, parks, monuments, exhibits etc.
This job location is awesome in terms of convenience and the ability to have an awesome social life and participate in all the cool activities Washington, DC has to offer.
What you will be doing!
• Provide full user support for standard application software in order to meet needs
• Conduct training in order to develop the organizations personnel’s skill in the operations and capabilities of applications and systems.
• Implement system security measures such as backups, access control, system accounting and disaster revovery in order to maintain system integrity and availability
• Install and configure internal hardware components such as memory, disk and tape drives in multi-user, personnel computers (PCs) and servers in order to maintain or enhance system operation and capabilities.
• Perform troubleshooting and fault isolation of PC’s, servers, LAN’s or related system components in simple configurations in order to maintain system availability.
What you will need:
• Scrum Master certification and 3 years of experience in that role
• Current experience providing technical leadership to a complex, PCI-compliant web application integrated with external payment processor
• Minimum of five years of experience with JIRA, Test Rail, Fish Eye and Crucible
• Two years experience with Confluence
• Experience in troubleshooting computer problems (hardware and/or software)
• At minimum an Associate Degree from an accredited educational institution in Computer Science, Information Systems or a directly related field
