ALQIMI Professional Services Group is seeking a Cleared American Escort in support of concrete repairs to the J.E. Hoover Building in Washington DC.

Position: Cleared American Escort

Cleared American Escorts will escort and monitor non-cleared personnel, and assist with access control for secured areas at a federal government construction project in Washington D.C.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Provide employee escorts with FBI approved escort privileges to escort and monitor construction employees at the Hoover Bldg. and for GSA HSPD-12 Badges.

• Escort and monitor up to ratio to 5 construction employees keeping them in the line of sight at all times.
• Visually inspect site personnel for appropriate credentials.
• Conducting random inspections of secured areas for unapproved personnel and material.

• Perform work during client off hours (4:30pm thru 2:30am).

• Wearing personnel protective equipment per OSHA requirements.

• Handling various other duties as needed.

Work Environment:

• The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

• The employee will normally work in an environment where they may be exposed to extreme winter cold or hot summer weather conditions.
• The employee may occasionally be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.

• The employee may be required to stand for 8 hours and perform work during client off duty hours (1800 thru 0600 hours).

REQUIREMENTS:

· Minimum Secret clearance with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) approved by the FBI.

Able to successfully pass · HSPD-12 background investigation and receive an FBI badge authorizing them to be an escort.

· United States Citizen.

• At least 6 months of security experience.

• Ability to work a consistent full-time or part-time guard schedule.
• Be available for weekend and on-call work.

• Have reliable transportation to and from the worksite (no onsite parking is provided).

• Ability to operate a personal computer is desired.

• General knowledge sufficient to aptly operate a hand-held radio is desired.
