We are currently seeking a Desktop Support Technician Tier 3 to support our customer located in Lanham, MD.

 

 

What you will be doing:

Provides Tier 3 incident and problem management, diagnosis, escalation, tracking, and resolution for Windows 10 system under the direction of the Windows 10 technical lead.

 

Provide excellent customer service and a positive support experience to all levels of end users using the Service Desk ticketing system. I

 

dentify sources of Windows 10 issues, perform troubleshooting, and add to the knowledge base. Understand priority levels, escalation procedures, and ticket workflow for the Windows 10 project.

 

The Tier 3 technician will be responsible for leading a small team of Tier 2 technicians and report directly to the Windows 10 technical lead. Ensure Tier 2 technicians are updating tickets with the latest status, documenting solutions, and following the ticket workflow.

 

 

 

Requirements:

8+ years experience in a similar role performing Windows IT customer support in a medium to large sized managed services environment

8+ years experience of Windows OS administration, configuration, and troubleshooting

Working technical knowledge of Windows 10 operating systems, Microsoft Office 365, and network printer management

Solid working knowledge of Internet standards and protocols (DNS, TCP/IP, etc.)

Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Experience leading a team

 

Required Education:

Bachelor's Degree in computer science/information technology or related field

 

Desired:

Microsoft Certified Professional

Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Windows 10

Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Group Policies
